And off we go! In t minus 24 hours we go on tour to Italy — something we’ve always dreamed of!
Adilei will pay visits to several towns and meet families of people who love life and song as we do!
All this started in the foyer of the Tbilisi Conservatory: after the closing ceremony of the Symposium for Traditional Polyphony we met an Italian ethnomusicologist Renato Morelli, who expressed a keen interest in having Adilei travel to Italy. And so we began scheming. Last year out very own Sandro went to Premana and the people there invited us to come and sing with them.
Over the course of this tour we will visit Sardignia, Cantù, Premana and Sueglio. We will perform at four chant concerts and one folk concert, the latter a joint event with the singers from Premana.
